SKID 16 - GET RIDING IN NO TIME!
Designed around the needs of youngsters getting their first pedal-driven bikes. Small lightweight frames mean riders can easily stand over the frame, get their feet on the ground, helping to build their confidence. We believe that being a kid, should involve fun and be careless so we have used hard-wearing, scratch-resistant decals to withstand the rough use at playtime. To keep fingers and clothing out of danger, this bike is fitted with a chainguard, giving parents peace of mind. Learning to ride couldn’t be easier with the Skid 16.
SIZE SPECIFIC CONTACT POINTS
Skid 16 is finished with a kid's specific saddle, smaller, narrower bars, smaller diameter grips, reach adjustable bars, reach adjustable brakes and a shorter crankset with smaller pedals - all to suit smaller riders perfectly.

Skid 16 features a frame optimized for young riders. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are mechanically formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use making for a lighter frame.

WHY IT’S BEST.
- Skid is designed around 'easy-ride-geometry' - a stable bike for kids inspiring their confidence and improving balance and riding skill.
- Skid 16 comes with lightweight, easily removable training wheels.
- Skid 16 features 2.125" higher volume knobbly tyres that provide more grip than standard skinnier kids tyres, as well as adding comfort and improved traction.
- Alloy wheels are lighter than steel wheels, and makes for a lighter complete bike. Alloy wheels also pedal easier for kids, and the wheels are more robust and stiff than comparative steel wheels.
- Skid's lightweight Alloy frame is mechanically formed to keep cost down and offers a super low standover, ideal for young riders with shorter legs. Also suitable to both boys and girls with a range of colour options available.

ENGINEERING NOTES.
CHAINGUARD
The chainguard completely covers the chain and chainrings. This keeps your kid clean and hands and feet from potential hazards.
EASY RIDE GEOMETRY
Geometry on our kids bicycles are designed to improve balance and comfort moving the rider in a more natural feeling position. With better balance and more comfort, confidence is improved. This makes for swift riding progression.
FENDERS AND BASKET
The Skid frame features mounting points for fenders. The bikes come fitted with front and rear fenders as well as a front basket for carrying essentials.
LIGHTWEIGHT TRAINING WHEELS
The Skid 16 comes with training wheels.

V-BRAKES
Skid 16 comes with V-brakes. V-brakes offer good performance and the lever pull is light for young riders. Levers are reach adjustable for smaller hands. Full-length cables keep brakes working better for longer, and maintenance easier
