EAGLE EQUIPPED SILVERBACK LADIES DESIGN SPORT MTB
A 12 speed SX Eagle drivetrain, hydro formed alloy frame, internal routing, tubeless ready wheels and tyres, an integrated kickstand mount, tapered headset and progressive trail geometry. Splash SX is fitted with a Rockshox Recon Silver TK Boost fork with 100mm of travel - considered the benchmark fork in this category. A bike this good and this well spec’d is unseen in this class making the Stride SX a true BIC offering.
SLD (SILVERBACK LADIES DESIGN)
Silverback Ladies Design means that the bicycle is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.
HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME
The Splash features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use - resulting in a lighter bike for female riders. All Splash frames are now internal dropper post ready.

ENGINEERING NOTES.
SUSPENSION FORK
The Splash Elite is fitted with a purpose chosen 32mm SR Suntour 100mm air suspension fork. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike. The SR Suntour XCR is a dependable component.
ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY
Silverback's Position of Power geometry. Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed. Geometry on the Splash is adapted to offer more comfort.
1X DRIVETRAIN
Silverback fits 1x drivetrains to as many bikes as we can. 1x offers less maintenance, is more intuitive to use and offers a wider gear range than 3x groupsets. We spec a Shimano 1x10 wide range drivetrain and a 32t chainring on the Splash Elite in favor of climbing, rather than flat terrain top speed. Everyone can benefit from easier climbing.
SURFACE TUBELESS READY WHEELS
Surface Wheels fitted to the Splash are pre-taped at the factory and tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up, just add sealant and inflate to seat.
LOW STANDOVER
The new Splash frame is designed with super low standover. This means more manoeuvrability, easier mounting and dismounting and also confidence both on the trails, or even just standing at a traffic light. And helps to make the bike perfectly suited to female riders.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
Splash Elite features Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all weather performance. Great stopping power and decent modulation
